About Us
Implant Training Group (ITG) was founded by Dr. M.K. Bobby Baig in 2015. He is a board-certified Prosthodontist in Canada and serves as a national examiner for both the National Dental Specialty Examination Board and for the Prosthodontics Fellowship of Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
ITG’s team of specialists teach real world applications in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Surgery, and Restorative Dentistry — with a balanced educational experience emphasizing didactic instruction, hands-on clinical skill-building, and live-patient care.

Dental Specialists Group
Dr. Baig is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, USA, Clinical Instructor in Prosthodontics at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Associate in Dentistry at University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Baig is a certified specialist in Prosthodontics and serves as an examiner for the National Specialty Examination in Prosthodontics, administered by Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Baig is a lecturer for many dental study clubs and professional organizations across North America and Southeast Asia.

Dr. Gasser Ibrahim
Graduated, AEGD Certificate
Gasser Ibrahim graduated from MSA university in Egypt in 2011 and completed his internship in numerous hospitals in 2012. He then practiced in his family-owned dental office till 2018 when he moved to Canada. Gasser held a digital manager position in one of Toronto’s leading dental laboratories until in 2021, he joined Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester NY where he is currently pursuing his research fellowship and AEGD certificate.
Leon Gurgov
CDT, RDT
Leonid Gurgov acquired an Advanced Diploma from George Brown College in 2010 and successfully completed the requirements of practicing dental technology in Ontario in 2011, being the youngest dental technician granted the title of Registered Dental Technician in the province. Leonid is a member of the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario (ADTO), a registered active member of the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO), a member of Dental Technology Academy (DTA), of Aesthetic Design and Implant Academy (ADIA) and a member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Saurabh Chhabra
MDS., Cert. Prosthodontist., FRCDC
Originally from New Delhi, Dr. Chhabra completed his Bachelor’s in dental surgery in 2005. As a general dentist he constantly participated in continuing education programs to help serve better. To pursue his keen interest in the field of prosthetic dentistry, he completed his Masters in Prosthodontics in 2010 in India and did his dental specialty training in Prosthodontics at UBC (Vancouver) in 2021. Currently registered as a General dentist and Prosthodontist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and Fellow Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Moemen Metwally
Oral & Implantology Surgeon
Dr. Metwally brings a unique perspective to oral surgery and implantology. He has been in private practice since 2012 and has built a career revolving around oral surgery and implantology. His daily practice is limited to implant dentistry from single implants to full mouth rehabilitation utilizing all-on-x treatment, including same day loading protocols and the use of zygomatic and pterygoid implants. His understanding of both restorative and surgery allows for a comprehensive approach. Dr. Metwally loves mentorship and looks forward to being a part of another colleague’s implant journey.
Dr. Nora El-Mowafy
BDS, MSc, FRCDC, Dip. Prostho
Dr. Nora El-Mowafy is a Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics at Dental Specialists Group, providing comprehensive care focused on restoring oral health, function, and natural smile esthetics. She earned her BDS in Egypt and completed specialty training at the University of British Columbia, receiving both a Master of Craniofacial Science and Diploma in Prosthodontics. A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, she has practiced across the GTA for seven years. Her focus includes crowns, implants, dentures, and esthetic dentistry. She also teaches at the University of Toronto.
